The ELECTRAVIA company designs, produces and markets the innovative propellers for aviation E-PROPS.

 

The company is also known for its electric motorizations systems intended for leisure aviation (engines, controllers, dedicated instrumentation, batteries = > the E-MOTOR department), as well as for aircraft equipped with these new successful and silent propulsion systems made between 2008 and 2013.

The ELECTRAVIA project was launched at the end of 2006 by two aviation enthusiasts, Anne Lavrand and Christian Vandamme, quickly joined by the third partner, Jérémie Buiatti. The team strengthened little by little, and settled down at the beginning of 2011 in new premises near an airfield (Provence). See history of the company.

 

From 2009, in parallel with electric engines, the team has worked on propellers for aviation : first in wood, then in wood with fiberglass and finally in carbon. The success of those propellers was immediate, both on the technical plan and on a business level.

 

=> At present, the company has temporarily suspended the electric motorizations, while waiting for batteries allowing a bigger autonomy. The team dedicates itself to the design and to the manufacturing of the E-PROPS propellers.

(*) INDUSTRY 4.0 CONCEPT

Industry 4.0 is the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies. It includes cyber-physical systems, the Internet of things and cloud computing.

Industry 4.0 creates what has been called a "smart factory". Within the modular structured smart factories, cyber-physical systems monitor physical processes, create a virtual copy of the physical world and make decentralized decisions. Over the Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems communicate and cooperate with each other and with humans in real time, and via the Internet of Services, both internal and cross-organizational services are offered and used by participants of the value chain.
